Polar Bears make a splash!
More than 129 brave Polar Bears of all shapes, sizes, and ages joined the fun in our new Virtual Polar Plunge to raise money for PBF grants, scholarships and programs.
We loved seeing the brave and creative ways you showed your polar pride!
Special thanks to our corporate match donor, eciGroup.
We can't wait for next year!
Musical receives NOW Grant
The PBF is proud to support Northern High School's first Digitally Streamed musical - Disney's "Beauty and the Beast"
The Northern stage looked different from years past with a newly resurfaced stage, limited sets, animated projections, and a cast that did its best to socially distance and learn choreography that was as COVID friendly as possible!
Friends and family from far and near watched the shows without leaving their living rooms!
The PBF was proud to support the special makeup, lights, and other equipment to support this unique production.
Hooray, we made it halfway!
Let's face it - this school year has been challenging.
The PBF wanted our students and teachers to know that WE SEE THEIR GOOD WORK. PBF volunteers, including PBF Student Representative Makenna Landis, decorated all six school lobbies to celebrate the start of the 2nd semester.
Reaching Toward the Future
$1.4 million state grant nudges the
Turf Field Project toward the goal line.
The Polar Bear Foundation is proud to share the good news of the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Project (RACP) grant awarded to the school district.
The matching grant from the RACP, must now be combined with additional local donations through the PBF, to move the District one step closer to installing the first artificial turf athletic field as well as needed improvements to Bostic Field. LEARN MORE
More about the Polar Bear Foundation Athletic Fund
The Athletic Fund provides donors the opportunity to direct their contributions into programs to enhance our athletic fields, equipment, supplies and opportunities.
The first major project of the Athletic Fund is to raise money for the construction of a new turf field.
The PBF is still in need of donations to the Turf Field Project to make sure we can help the School District cross the goal line and make these dreams a reality!
